THE SCHOOL GOT A NEW SCHOOL BUS
The 19th of May 30, 2012 was very big day for tenwek high school. This was the day the school receive a new Bus. It has been long awaited day for the students to see the new bus. The new bus was given escort right from KCB Bomet, round Bomet town and all the way to the school. Among the dignitaries who there were; the area mp Beatrice Kones, the school BOG Chairman Mr. Dennis Chepkwony, the General motors representative from Nakuru, Bomet KCB branch Manager among others. Among those who entertain the guests were pupils from the neighbouring schools; Tenwek Boarding primary school, Tenwek Day Primary, Dr. Steury Memorial Primary and the school choir.
Tenwek high school is a three streamed school having 12 classes, three well equipped laboratories, a library which accommodates two hundred students, technical rooms for the technical subjects among other tuition facilities. The school also has a spacious dinning hall, six dormitories that accommodate all our students among other boarding facilities.
For recreation the school has the following facilities; a football, basketball, netball and handball courts. It also has other indoor games like badminton, table tennis among others.
Other facilities in the school includes the school farm where students do plant their crops and dairy farm
